LinConnect is built to keep your data where it belongs — in your browser. This policy explains exactly what we do and don't collect, and who processes the little data that leaves your device.
1. Who we are
LinConnect ("we", "us") is a Chrome browser extension and this website, linconnect.pro, that helps recruiters send personalized LinkedIn connection invitations at a safe, human-like pace. For any privacy question, contact us at support@linconnect.pro.
2. Data in the extension
The extension runs on LinkedIn search pages and stores everything it needs locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This includes:
- Your settings — delay range, daily and weekly limits, note template, and toggles.
- Local counters — how many invites you've sent per day and over the last 7 days.
- Local diagnostics — simple counts (e.g. invites sent, skipped, or limit warnings) to help you and our support troubleshoot.
3. Payments
The optional paid "Pro" plan is handled by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process payments. When you upgrade, ExtensionPay and Stripe process the data needed for the subscription — typically your email address and payment details. We receive only your paid/unpaid status and the email associated with your subscription so the extension can unlock Pro. We never see or store your card details.
Their handling of your data is governed by their own policies: see the ExtensionPay Privacy Policy and the Stripe Privacy Policy.
4. This website
linconnect.pro is a static informational site. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies. To understand which pages and buttons are useful, we use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool that we host on our own server (stats.linconnect.pro). It records anonymous, aggregated page views, referrers, approximate country and clicks on the "Add to Chrome" buttons; it does not use cookies, does not build profiles and does not identify you, and the data is not shared with third parties. If you request a team offer, we collect the number of users, your company name, work email and phone number you enter, and use them only to prepare and send that offer and follow up on it. This data is stored on our own server, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted within 12 months if we do not enter into an agreement. You can ask us to delete it at any time via support@linconnect.pro. If you buy a Team plan, Stripe processes the payment and billing details; we store the admin's email, company name, the subscription status and the email addresses of invited users so we can send invites and activate Pro. When an invited user activates Pro, the extension stores a random license key in the browser and periodically sends only that key to linconnect.pro to check that the team plan is still active; no LinkedIn data is ever sent. Team data is kept while the subscription is active and deleted within 12 months after it ends, or earlier on request. The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to serve those fonts; see the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Why the extension asks for its permissions

linconnect.pro— only for Team users: to receive the license when you activate a team invite and to check that the team plan is still active (only the random license key is sent).
6. Sharing & processors
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. The only third parties that process any data are the service providers that make LinConnect work:
- ExtensionPay and Stripe — subscription and payment processing (Team plans are billed directly through Stripe).
- Google Fonts — serving fonts on this website.
7. Retention & deletion
Settings, counters, and diagnostics live in your browser until you clear them. You can delete them at any time by removing the extension or clearing the browser's storage for the extension. Payment records held by ExtensionPay/Stripe are retained according to their policies and applicable law; to delete your subscription data, cancel your subscription and contact us.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because settings and counters are stored locally, you already control that data directly. For payment-related data or any request, email support@linconnect.pro and we will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate / VDAI).
9. Children
LinConnect is a professional recruiting tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
